Animals were assessed in these areas: body and bone composition, cardiovascular, grip strength, pain sensitivity using DXA system, conscious non-invasive ECG and blood pressure, cold/hot plate analgesia, and grip strength.

Procedures conducted:
• body weight 
• DXA  Body mass, fat mass, lean mass, bone mineral density and content (whole body, femur, spine).
• ECG  Heart rate and wave intervals. Conscious.
• tail cuff  Heart rate and blood pressure. Conscious mice.
• grip strength  Peak tension.

Mice: inbred   7 strains   ♀♂   age 8-14wks   1 experimental group
